Cotto vs Margarito 2

Cotto vs Margarito 2 is one of the most interesting rematch that I want to see. The much awaited rematch of the world's most renowned welterweights is now going to take over on The Madison Square Garden, New York. After the explosive bout of the controversial Pacquiao vs Marquez 3, another main event is about to take place. On December 3rd, these two fighters will test each other's skills as they fight for glory and respect.

As we all know, they first met on 2008 where Margarito took Cotto down in the final seconds of the 12th round. The Puerto Rican boxer took several solid punches from the Mexican which gave Margarito the rhythm and timing that he needed to take down Cotto. A very shocking loss on the undefeated champion Cotto. Cotto vs Margarito Live

After 3 years, both fighters decided to have a rematch. A match that will measure their skills and abilities that they've improved for the last 3 years. But the big question is, who will be the one to dominate the fight? Is it going to be Margarito who defeated Cotto in their first match up or is it going to be Cotto who has improved a lot for the past years? This is going to be a very bloody match up. Better prepare yourselves for this action-filled boxing match. Be a part of the second face-up of these great welterweights. Watch Cotto vs Margarito 2!

Watch Azkals vs LA Galaxy Online

What's up fellas? How are you doing? Would you mind if I ask some questions? Can you please define the word "dream"? What is your dream? How about the word "match"? What does it mean? What if we fuse the word "dream" and the word "match"? Can you please define this one? For the Philippine Football Team commonly known as the "Azkals", no words can define the happiness that they felt after the finalization of their dream match against the LA Galaxy. Watch Azkals vs LA Galaxy

For these past years, the Azkals tried hard to bring glory and honor for our country. They won many battles, they lose some of it but at the end of the day, they still bring honor and glory for the country win or lose. Doesn't they deserve some of our support? Right at this moment, let us support our Philippine Football Team on their exhibition match against the LA Galaxy on December 3 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

The LA Galaxy, the current Major League Soccer (MLS) Cup champions is said to be the last match for the Azkals for the year. The team became controversial after signing Real Madrid superstar David Beckham in a deal potentially worth $250 million, which was the highest-profile signing in the history of MLS.

Michael Weiss, the Philippine Azkals coach is hoping that Filipino football fans will come and support the Philippine team. This is their Christmas present for all of the loyal fans of the Azkals. They promise to give their all, win or lose. Watch Chavez vs Manfredo Online

3Another big boxing event is going to take over on November 19th. Chavez vs Manfredo is the much awaited boxing event between WBC Middleweight champion Julio Cezar Chavez Jr. (43-0-1, 30 KO's) and the challenger Peter Manfredo Jr. (37-6, 20 KO's).

Chavez vs Manfredo
Chavez will be defending his WBC Middleweight title for the first time. He won his WBC Middleweight title last June 4 in Los Angeles when he won a majority decision against Sebastian Zbik. Chavez was set to defend his title against Ronald Hearns, who is the son of the great Thomas Hearns on September 17 but later withdrew three weeks ahead of time due to a hand laceration he received from an overhead ceiling fan.

On the otherhand, Manfredo, the challenger first gained fame as a contestant on the "Contender" series in 2005. He later obtained a title shot at super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe in 2007 but was KO'd in the 3rd round. Despite his loss, Manfredo managed to won six fights in a row after his loss in November 2008 against Sakio Bika. Now, another chance of a lifetime knocks on his door. He looks upon his upcoming fight against Chavez as his last shot and plans to give everything that he has. Manfredo claimed that if he's unsuccessful in his latest bid to win a world title, he will retire.

Let us all watch how the blazing courage of this two boxers collide. Who will be the one to dominate the fight and take home the victory? Is it going to be Chavez who definitely wants to defend his title or is it going to be Manfredo who is burning with his desire to win a world title? Let us all find out on November 19th at the Reliant Arena, Houston. Watch Chavez vs Manfredo online!

Watch Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Replay

Once again, Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao took home the victory for the 2nd time against his opponent Juan Manuel "El Dinamita" Marquez after their 12-round bout at the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao won over a very close majority decision 114-114, 115-113, 116-112. Marquez, a little bit disappointed about the results, decided to accept his defeat from the Philippines' very own Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao. Pacquiao won the fight which simply means he's still the 8-divison title holder and undoubtedly the best fighter on the planet as of the moment.

On the otherhand, Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 is the primary topic on different social networking sites like Facebook and Tweeter. After the trilogy fight, some information rapidly spread on many social networking sites such as Mayweather will possibly fight Pacquiao on May and the other is Arum started to promote Pacquiao vs Marquez 4, which is pretty early to talk about.

Despite his loss for the 2nd time against Pacquiao, Marquez decided to have a short break in order for him to think about his boxing career. Some critics said that the recently Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight is possibly the last fight of Marquez, which I think is not possible to happen because Marquez is still powerful and quite quick. But his quickness and power was overthrowned by Pacquiao, which ended Pacquiao taking home the victory.

As of the moment, for those who didn't watched the trilogy fight of Pacquiao and Marquez, feel free to visit this site for a replay. Watch how Pacquiao's power and desire for victory took Marquez for the second time. Get hooked with the fight of the year. Watch Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 replay online!

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3

The much awaited awaited trilogy between the world's greatest fighter Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao and Mexico's very own Juan Manuel "El Dinamita" Marquez is just few hours away before collision. Be prepared to watch this explosive match-up of the year. I'm quite sure that this is going to be the best fight of the year.

Pacquiao, a southpaw fighter, is said to be the mortal enemy of Marquez, which is an orthodox fighter. Their controversial fight on 2004 ended on a draw which is pretty intruiging. Their 2009 fight ended on a 1-point split decision, a very close fight where Pacquiao took home the victory. After those two fights, Marquez stood still claiming that he already beaten Pacquiao twice (on 2004 that ended on a draw and on 2009 where Pacquiao took home the victory at a 1-point split decision).

Upon hearing this, Pacquiao didn't seem to react desperately. Hence, he managed and decided to take on Marquez for the 3rd and final time to clear all the doubts of their first 2 fights. Marquez's blown words seemed to motivate Pacquiao to train hard, which resulted on Pacquiao's 9 weeks of training (Pacquiao only spent 7 weeks of training on his previous fight against Sugar Shane Mosley and Antonio Margarito).

On the otherhand, El Dinamita claimed that he is not going to make the same mistake like on his previous fight against Mayweather, where he gained a lot of weight and slowed down which resulted on losing the fight. He claimed that he studied every possibility to maintain his speed while gaining weight in order for him to go head to head against Pacquiao.

On the bottomline, who among this great fighters remain standing for the 12th and final round? Let us find out by watching this historical boxing event. The 25th round is now going to start any moment from now. Be a part of history. Watch Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 online!

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 News Update

The previous fights of Pacquiao, the 8-division world champion, is a solid evidence of his improvement for the past years. He fought many boxers and took all of their belts that resulted of having 8 world titles at a very short range of time. But Pacquiao doesn't seemed to be confident. Even though he improved a lot for the past years, he doesn't stop training hard in order for him to improve all of his weak points, specially his right hand, which is said to be as lethal as his left, Coach Freddie Roach stated.

8-Division World Champion Manny Pacquiao
On the otherhand, Marquez, Pacquiao's rival for the Welterweight belt seemed to be so confident with that he can take down the 8-division world champion. He stated that he knows all of Pacquiao's hidden cards and knows how to counter it. Marquez, being famous of being a counter puncher stated that he won't make the same mistakes as he made on his previous fights against Pacquiao.

In a sport who needs physical and mental alertness, nobody knows what's going to happen next. But one thing is for sure. This fight is going to be as explosive as any other fights of Pacquiao being handled. If you love to see this great boxers fight for glory and respect, then don't dare miss to watch this upcoming fight. Be a part of the history. Watch Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 online!

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Head to Head

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 is now just few nights away. Two of the world's greatest fighters are about to go head to head with each other for the 3rd time in the name of glory and respect. Pacquiao, the pride of the Philippines, started his training a few weeks earlier unlike his previous fights against Margarito and Mosley, where he only spent 7 weeks of training. Does he really wanted to beat Marquez so bad so he decided to train earlier unlike his previous fights?

On the otherhand, Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao's rival for the WBC Welterweight belt seemed to be so serious about his training which didn't surprised me because Pacquiao is such a tough opponent and Marquez seriously knows that. The pressure is getting higher and higher. Who among these two great fighters survive and take home the victory? The preparations are now on the final touches. There's no turning back now.

Few nights before the much awaited showdown, many fans are getting excited. The MGM Grand Hotel will be full of boxing fans once again. This is going to be the fight of the year. Who among these two great fighters take home the WBC Welterweight belt? Is it going to be Pacquiao or Marquez? Who's your bet? No body knows what's going to happen next. Let us all watch this historical fight. Be a part of the history. Watch Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 online!

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Countdown

Few days before the much awaited trilogy fight Pacquiao vs Marquez 3, the expectations between this two fighters seemed to heighten so rapidly. Well I'm not quite surprised about this happenings because this two fighters are the top fighters in the world and I'm quite sure that this fight is going to be remembered forever. Pacquiao, the Philippines' pride and the current 8-division title holder is now ready to face his challenger, Mexico's "Numero Uno" counterpuncher Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12th at the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fans are getting hooked up as days appeared to move so fast before this trilogy fight and I know that the whole world is going to watch this explosive fight. Few years back, Pacquiao and Marquez already fought. Their first meeting ended on a controversial draw. The second ended up Pacquiao beating up Marquez and stole his WBC Featherweight belt. Now, Mexico's Numero Uno is going to have his payback and will try his best to take down the best boxer in the world, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Will he be able to take down Pacquiao as planned? Pacquiao trains at Baguio City for his high-altitude training

Team Pacquiao decided to start the training of our very own Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao on Baguio City, which is known for its cold climate and high altitude mountains. Early in the morning, Pacquiao himself decided to have a jogging over the high mountains of Baguio City. Boboy Fernandez, Pacquiao's trainer said that Pacquiao has some kind of determination, determination to beat Marquez for the second time in order to end all of those issues regarding his controversial win over the Mexican boxer.

Marquez claimed that he did not lose to Manny Pacquiao in their face off last 2009. He also claimed that he never accepted Pacquiao as the winner of their previous bout. Pacquiao on the otherhand remained silent and chose to prepare seriously for his upcoming fight against Marquez on November 12th.

On my own view, I think Pacquiao here is going for the kill. He seemed to be disturbed with Marquez's trash talks. This is going to be an explosive bout. Let us all watch this historical fight. Pacquiao vs Marquez 3. Who's going to take the victory? Let us all find out on November 12th, the judgement day of Pacquiao vs Marquez 3.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Press Tour

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Press Tour

In order to promote an epic fight, it should have a heavy exposure on television and other media. And another way to promote such big event is through a press tour. And that's what Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 is going to give to its fans. Top Rank Promotions has prepared a one-week, four-city press tour that will start in Manila on September 3 and will end in Mexico City.

The first part of the press tour in Manila is expected to draw out 50, 000 at the Mall of Asia. Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 a preparation for Mayweather?

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 a preparation for Mayweather?

Many speculations occur that the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight is just a preparation of Pacquiao vs Mayweather dream match. Although there seems no light in these dream match, many fans are waiting for it to come true. Many boxing analysts said that Pacquiao has slowed down in the previous years. Is this a sign that Pacquiao is going to lose over Juan Manuel Marquez? I think that's not enough basis because Manny Pacquiao gained weight for the past years in order for him to win different world titles in different weight classes. If he didn't gained weight, he won't be famous as he was today. I think Pacquiao is still competetive in a 145 lbs. match against Marquez. On the other hand, many boxing analysts said that Marquez won't be able to keep up with the speed and power of Pacquiao because he is getting older. One of the advantages of Pacquiao is his age. According to boxing analysts, age would play a big factor on how your body will respond from your brain.  Would this factor affect the performance of Marquez against Pacquiao on their 3rd and final showdown? I guess let's just find out and watch out for news updates of the much awaited Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight!

Pacquiao seeks default judgement in Mayweather Defamation Case

Mayweather Defamation Case
After discussions of the possibility of the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight, misunderstandings burnt both parties. Mayweather's side stated many accusations on Manny Pacquiao that aims to defame him. Manny have to take a step in order to stop this worthless accusations of Mayweather himself. He decided to file a defamation case against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and other parties, as Mayweather is allegedly continuing to come up with excuses to avoid deposition dates. Manny filed the papers yesterday in Nevada as part of his defamation suit against Mayweather - in which he (Mayweather) accused Manny of using some kind of a performance enhancing drug, commonly known as steroids. According to the documents, Manny's camp offered up 24 dates for Floyd to be deposed - but Mayweather kept coming up with excuses and chose not to show up for any of them.

The suit was originally filed against Mayweather, his uncle Roger, his father Floyd Sr., and Golden Boy Promotions representatives Oscar de la Hoya and Richard Schaefer. De la Hoya and Schaefer were recently dropped off the case after de la Hoya himself offered a public apology. But the Mayweathers are still on the hook, and at this point, the Pacquiao legal team is going ahead with trying to get the default, which they've threatened to do since June. A default judgement would entitle Pacquiao to damages, which have been the gossip this past few months. A fairly quiet end on the case that costs him (Mayweather) only money and doesn't have him appearing in court.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3: Promotional Package by HBO

HBO on Pacquiao vs Marquez 3
HBO Sports released the details of the promotional package that they are planning for the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight on November 12. Recently, HBO beat out Showtime as the pay-per-view controller of the much awaited trilogy. Rick Reeno of BocingScene.com spoke with Top Rank's Bob Arum and discussed some details on the promotional package of HBO Sports.

HBO Sports with the parent company Time Warner fully involved on the following:

* Promotion on TBS, which could mean that Pacquiao will be on Conan and/or Lopez Tonight.

* Promotion on TNT, which will include Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller.
* Promotion on CNN, including Arum and Pacquiao on Piers Morgan's show.
* Repeats on HBO's "24/7" on CNN, which is a pretty big deal.

I'm quite excited about the promotional results of HBO Sports. Large-scale promotion for boxing is not an easy thing, but it was made possible by HBO Sports. Showtime and CBS made some steps to improve their promotional tactics last May and now HBO and Time Warner are coming up with some tactics to improve their promotional tactics too. Much better than what Shotime and CBS has accomplished.

Roach: "Pacquiao is going for the kill!"

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao
Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's well-renowned boxing trainer, said that Manny is going for the kill on his upcoming fight against Juan Manuel Marquez. Manny Pacquiao will be facing Marquez for the third time, and as we all know, Manny does not underestimate his opponents, even though he already know the tactics and techniques of Marquez. Manny is going to start his training soon. He's planning to start at Bagiuo City, where the temperature is lower than any cities in the Philippines. Then he's going to fly to California to have his heavy training at the Wild Card Boxing Gym. On other updates, Manny is now having a charity show, which was titled "Manny Many Prizes" where he aims to help his fellowmen even if he's going to use his own money for the show. Such a nice move from the people's champ. He wanted to help all the Filipino's by building their dreams and serving as an inspiration. He used the show as a medium to help the less fortunate, and he even used his own money from his pocket. I wish that he will continue his aim and hope that he will succeed with his objectives. Back to the topic, Manny is now getting prepared for his training and expect for the best in his upcoming fight. His recent fight against Sugar Shane Mosley was often described as "boring", but for now, Pacquiao claimed that he will give us the action that we've all been waiting for. Marquez claimed for that too. I'm quite excited about the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 and I set my mind for these goals: "Expect the unexpected!"

Marquez: "I'm not going to make the same mistakes twice"

Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez

After losing his last fight against Manny Pacquiao last 2008 where Pacquiao snapped his WBC featherweight belt, Marquez vows not to make the same mistakes that he made on their last fight. Marquez wants to free himself from all the issues that started after their controversial fight last 2008. After winning his last 2 fights, Juan Manuel Marquez is open to set his conclusions in his upcoming fight against greatest opponent Manny Pacquiao on November 12th, at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. Marquez quoted that this fight will answer all of those past issues and he will settle the score in his favor this time. Many fans said that their last fight were quite controversial, because Marquez's performance overcame Pacquiao's expectations. Now, all of those controversies will just be a memory, because the judgement day is getting sooner. The wair is now over because the 3rd match of two great warriors is set and will explode exactly on November 12th.  Can Marquez's courage overcome Pacquiao's expertise? Has the last two fights gave Marquez the intel and experience he needs to take down the pound-for-pound king? Based on Marquez's statistics, he has improved after a lot of match after he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. In my opinion, Marquez is the only fight so far who can trade punches and hurt Pacquiao, unlike any boxer that Pacquiao has fought recently. Marquez is making up his plans and tactics by studying Pacquiao's newest move. I'm quite enjoying how Marquez fight because he's a fighter with such great ability and courage. He's fighting fairly and he's giving all of his strength in every fight that he faced. Same thing that Pacquiao also possessed. These two great boxers have strive hard to get to the top, and here they are again, testing each other skills without hesitation. Let us watch these great fighter collide on November 12th, the judgement day is coming soon.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 pay-per-view will be officially handled by HBO

HBO Sports
After weeks of continues discussions, Michael Marley of the Examiner finally reports that an announcement will be  probably released on Wednesday or Thursday, regarding the statement of Top Rank CEO Bob Arum that HBO officially won the bid as the pay-per-view carrier of the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight on November 12, 2011. Arum also stated that the network who will win the rights to Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 Rematch would also be getting the Cotto vs. Margarito rematch pay-per-view on December 3. HBO's win for the bid doesn't surprise me anymore. Recently, Ross Greenburg has let go as the HBO Sports President and despite his denials, it was clear that letting Showtime handle the May 7 pay-per-view  fight of Manny Pacquiao against Sugar Shane Mosley had broke his chances to continue his legacy on HBO Sports. HBO's offer for Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 was described by Arum as "truly a blockbuster, well thought out." It simply means that HBO would be working on other media  like TV's and magazines to promote the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3, which lessens the chances for Showtime to win the bid. Showtime made a great decision of stealing Pacquiao from HBO earlier this year, but I guess HBO realized how much they lose if they let Pacquiao slip to Showtime again. They made several mistakes recently and I'm pretty sure that they're not going to make the same mistake again.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 Tickets Nearly Sold Out After The First Day

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Update
The first day of the much awaited Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight nearly sold out their tickets. The fight will take place on November 12th and Yahoo! Sports boxing columnist Kevin Lole tweeted earlier that there's only few seats remaining at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some boxing columnists predicted that Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 will going to be bigger than their previous fight, now I'm not wondering if it's gonna hit big because of the results of the first day ticket sales. I'm just wondering who among Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 and Mayweather vs. Ortiz will gain more pay-per-view? Is it gonna be Mayweather vs. Ortiz or Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3? Anyways, it doesn't matter who among this 2 big fights gain more pay-per-view because I'm pretty sure that both of these fights is going to be a big bash. More fans are getting excited because the judgement day comes closer and closer. Lucky are those people who bought the tickets on the first day because I guess this is gonna be the last time that Pacquiao vs. Marquez will gonna take place. As we know, this is gonna be the 3rd time that Pacquiao is going to face Marquez. After all the controversies of their previous 2 fights, both fighters decided to end this controversies by facing each other on November 12th. The whole world will stop turning at the date given. Pacquiao on Marquez: "He's got nothing different, nothing new."

Manny Pacquiao on Marquez
The controversial knock out match of Juan Manuel Marquez and Likar Ramos last Sunday didn't back up Manny Pacquiao, Marquez's next opponent. Their match was set on November 12th and this will be the 3rd time that they are going to face each other. Pacquiao said that he watched the Marquez vs. Ramos match and he said: "He's got nothing different, nothing new." Pacquiao didn't seem to throw any hot lines but this time, it seems that he's challenging Marquez to improve his skills in order to have a very entertaining fight. Exchanging hot lines between boxers causes the rivalry to heat up. I can tell that the previous fights of Pacquiao has not been so entertaining because his opponents are not worth fighting for. In my opinion, the best fighter who can face Pacquiao for the moment is no other than Juan Manuel Marquez. I've watched the first fight of these great fighters that ended up on a controversial draw. I saw how they exchanged blows with each other. Both of them was beat to death by taking each other's punches. Then, the second time ended on an unanimous decision in favor of Pacquiao which I think was not a very easy win. And for the third time, these two fighters are going to face each other and no one knows what will gonna happen next. I am quite excited in this Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight and I'm quite sure that this is gonna be more explosive than any fight that Pacquiao had before.

Marquez knocked Ramos out

Juan Manuel Marquez won against Likar Ramos
Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez (53-5-1,39 KO's) made an easy way out of Likar Ramos knocking the Colombian boxer at 1:47 seconds of the 1st round of their fight last July 16th held at Plaza de Toros in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Marquez finished the Colombian boxer with a one right-hand blow that ended their match at 1:47 seconds of round 1. After watching the bout, I can tell that its not a quite good match up after all. Likar Ramos is not even close to Marquez. Before the match, I already knew that Marquez would be the winner. In terms of his (Marquez) skill and intelligence, Likar Ramos has no chance of winning on Marquez. The result of the Marquez-Ramos fight is quite exciting. Marquez set up the heat against Pacquiao by destroying Likar Ramos via knock out. Will Marquez's power overcome Pacquiao's blazing determination? Is this a warning for Manny Pacquiao to get prepared for their match on November 12th? I guess many fans would love to see how much Marquez had improved for the past years. Would that be enough for him to overcome Pacquiao's expertise? I'm quite excited about the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 on November 12, 2011. I would love to see these two boxers fight in the of glory. I wish good health for the both of them so that there would be no problems in the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight!

Pacquiao is the 2011 ESPN ESPY Best Fighter

Manny Pacquiao is the 2011 ESPN ESPY Best Fighter
The pound-for-pound king Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao overcame his fellow boxers such as Sergio Martinez and Bernard Hopkins for the 2011 ESPN ESPY Best Fighter Awards. After being nominated for the 4th time, Manny Pacquiao got the best votes on the previous award giving body in order to win the award over his fellow boxers. The presentation held at the Nokia Center at LA this Wednesday night and was hosted by Seth Myers. The former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather was not nominated, basically because of his absence for almost a year in the boxing industry but he already won the award previously. Filipinos must be really proud of Manny Pacquiao because he's the first Filipino fighter who ever won this award since it was organized in 1993. Another award which is connected in boxing was given to "Fighter", a film which is based on the true life story of Irish boxer Mickey Ward. On the other hand, Mayweather fans must be really happy with this news. Pacquiao agreed on the random blood testing which Mayweather proposed. Not only that, Pacquiao also agreed about the unlimited blood testing but there's a condition, it should be conducted on a neutral organization in order to avoid misunderstandings. Pacquiao claimed  that the US Anti-Doping Agency, the organization that Mayweather wants to handle the tests is not a neutral agency. Pacquiao said that there are other organizations who could conduct the test with the supervision of the athletic commission. The negotiation of Pacquiao-Mayweather fight failed too many times because of the issues that Mayweather had thrown to Pacquiao. But I think we can have some time without thinking about this match-ups because both fighters had an unfinished challenge to overcome. The Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 is coming to soon and I'm sure that this is going to  be a very explosive fight.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 was settled at 145 lbs.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 press conference
The people's champ Manny Pacquiao will face the Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez at a 145 -pound weight category, if the fight negotiation of the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 goes through says Michael Koncz, Pacquiao's adviser. For the 3rd time of facing each other, the Mexican boxer personally asked Manny Pacquiao to go down to a 143-pound weight category in pursuance of their trilogy fight. However, Michael Koncz, Pacquiao's adviser said that there's no way for Manny  to fight at a weight category lower than 145 pounds. "Its 145, and not 143. We've had general discussions with Bob Arum (Top Rank Promotions CEO), but we haven't sat down and it will be I and Manny who will be making the decision," said Koncz in BoxingScene.com. After defending his WBO welterweight title against Sugar Shane Mosley. Pacquiao is currently fighting at a 147-pound weight category. Juan Manuel Marquez, the reigning WBO and WBC lightweight champion is the best choice by many boxing experts as Pacquiao's next opponent, in absense of the former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd Mayweather: Pacquiao is next after Ortiz

Is Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight possible?
The undefeated welterweight boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. finally accepted the challenge of fighting Manny Pacquiao after his fight against Victor Ortiz on September 17th. After the unsuccessful negotiation of Pacquiao-Mayweather fight last May 2011, the expectations of watching these two great fighters are starting to rise. At the press conference last week, Mayweather said, "Manny Pacquiao, yes, you're next," according to fighthype.com. His opponent (Mayweather), Victor Ortiz, is considered as one of the toughest fighters in the present. After a year of silence in the ring, Mayweather decided to take on Victor Ortiz, who is currently holding the WBC Welterweight belt. The deal between the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is not yet close to its highest expectations, but chances are, if either fighters lose to their respective opponents, the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight might be not possible. And besides, both fighters have a fight to take care of, Manny have to handle Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3, which I guess would be a very explosive match-ups. Other issues affecting the possibility of Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is the random drug tests that Mayweather wants and the possibility of Pacquiao to commit a punitive weight penalty like $10 million per pound overweight penalty. These factors can affect the possibility of the much awaited Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. I hope that there will be no problems that will affect the possibility of the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight because I would love to see Manny Pacquiao fight the former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. in order for us to know who is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Pacquiao Vs. Marquez Showdown

Pacquaio vs Marquez 3
The Philippine pride, the 8-division world champion and the current pound-for-pound king Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KO's) is going to face his fearless opponent Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5-1, 38 KO's) on November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. After the unsuccessful negotiation of the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 takes its place. The Mexican fighter first fought Pacquiao on  2004 that ended on a draw. They fought last 2008 which was decided on a split decision, in favor of Pacquiao. And for the third time, they will test each other's abilities on November 12, at the MGM Grand Hotel. Facing each other for the 3rd time, I am quite sure that this is gonna be a very explosive fight. Seeing on their professional boxing records, both fighters are quite close with each other. Both of them have 38 KO records which is quite unbelievable. I think this bout is one of the most exciting comeback matches on boxing history. This is the fight that we've all been waiting for.
