Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 a preparation for Mayweather?

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 a preparation for Mayweather?

Many speculations occur that the Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight is just a preparation of Pacquiao vs Mayweather dream match. Although there seems no light in these dream match, many fans are waiting for it to come true. Many boxing analysts said that Pacquiao has slowed down in the previous years. Is this a sign that Pacquiao is going to lose over Juan Manuel Marquez? I think that's not enough basis because Manny Pacquiao gained weight for the past years in order for him to win different world titles in different weight classes. If he didn't gained weight, he won't be famous as he was today. I think Pacquiao is still competetive in a 145 lbs. match against Marquez. On the other hand, many boxing analysts said that Marquez won't be able to keep up with the speed and power of Pacquiao because he is getting older. One of the advantages of Pacquiao is his age. According to boxing analysts, age would play a big factor on how your body will respond from your brain.  Would this factor affect the performance of Marquez against Pacquiao on their 3rd and final showdown? I guess let's just find out and watch out for news updates of the much awaited Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight!

Pacquiao seeks default judgement in Mayweather Defamation Case

Mayweather Defamation Case
After discussions of the possibility of the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight, misunderstandings burnt both parties. Mayweather's side stated many accusations on Manny Pacquiao that aims to defame him. Manny have to take a step in order to stop this worthless accusations of Mayweather himself. He decided to file a defamation case against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and other parties, as Mayweather is allegedly continuing to come up with excuses to avoid deposition dates. Manny filed the papers yesterday in Nevada as part of his defamation suit against Mayweather - in which he (Mayweather) accused Manny of using some kind of a performance enhancing drug, commonly known as steroids. According to the documents, Manny's camp offered up 24 dates for Floyd to be deposed - but Mayweather kept coming up with excuses and chose not to show up for any of them.

The suit was originally filed against Mayweather, his uncle Roger, his father Floyd Sr., and Golden Boy Promotions representatives Oscar de la Hoya and Richard Schaefer. De la Hoya and Schaefer were recently dropped off the case after de la Hoya himself offered a public apology. But the Mayweathers are still on the hook, and at this point, the Pacquiao legal team is going ahead with trying to get the default, which they've threatened to do since June. A default judgement would entitle Pacquiao to damages, which have been the gossip this past few months. A fairly quiet end on the case that costs him (Mayweather) only money and doesn't have him appearing in court.

Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 pay-per-view will be officially handled by HBO

HBO Sports
After weeks of continues discussions, Michael Marley of the Examiner finally reports that an announcement will be  probably released on Wednesday or Thursday, regarding the statement of Top Rank CEO Bob Arum that HBO officially won the bid as the pay-per-view carrier of the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 fight on November 12, 2011. Arum also stated that the network who will win the rights to Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 Rematch would also be getting the Cotto vs. Margarito rematch pay-per-view on December 3. HBO's win for the bid doesn't surprise me anymore. Recently, Ross Greenburg has let go as the HBO Sports President and despite his denials, it was clear that letting Showtime handle the May 7 pay-per-view  fight of Manny Pacquiao against Sugar Shane Mosley had broke his chances to continue his legacy on HBO Sports. HBO's offer for Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 was described by Arum as "truly a blockbuster, well thought out." It simply means that HBO would be working on other media  like TV's and magazines to promote the Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3, which lessens the chances for Showtime to win the bid. Showtime made a great decision of stealing Pacquiao from HBO earlier this year, but I guess HBO realized how much they lose if they let Pacquiao slip to Showtime again. They made several mistakes recently and I'm pretty sure that they're not going to make the same mistake again.

Sports boxing columnist Kevin Lole tweeted earlier that there's only few seats remaining at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some boxing columnists predicted that Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 will going to be bigger than their previous fight, now I'm not wondering if it's gonna hit big because of the results of the first day ticket sales. I'm just wondering who among Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3 and Mayweather vs. Ortiz will gain more pay-per-view? Is it gonna be Mayweather vs. Ortiz or Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3? Anyways, it doesn't matter who among this 2 big fights gain more pay-per-view because I'm pretty sure that both of these fights is going to be a big bash. More fans are getting excited because the judgement day comes closer and closer.
